ART ON PAPER

This September, treat gallery and Kurlat Projects will present a collaborative exhibition during Art on Paper 2025 in New York City.

This presentation of women artists explores experimental approaches to photography through a diverse range of photographic practices—from alternative process photography to digital 3D works—highlighting the breadth and innovation of contemporary image-making. The featured artists look to the sky, botanicals, and the body as a deliberate act of observation, process, and resistance.

Participating artists include Parsley Steinweiss, Marcy Palmer, and myself.

As part of our commitment to giving back, 15% of all sales will be donated to NYC-based nonprofits that provide art-making opportunities and workshops for preteens and young adults.

treat gallery is a contemporary art project by Sherri Nienass dedicated to showcasing emerging art at affordable price points. Our mission extends beyond the gallery walls; we are passionate about supporting the community and contributing to meaningful causes. To this end, we donate a portion of our sales from every project, art fair, portfolio review and partnership to nonprofits and charities in need, aligning our success with a greater purpose. Community engagement is at the heart of what we do.

Kurlat Projects is a Brooklyn-based, artist-run curatorial initiative focused on supporting contemporary practices, particularly analog photography and abstract works by emerging and mid-career artists. Through exhibitions, artist talks, and workshops, we aim to foster meaningful dialogue between artists and audiences.
